Feedback from consultation events

Thank you to those of you who attended the consultation events for the Canons Park Station car park site. The consultation process is still open, and we invite you to continue offering your feedback on the proposals through this website.

We are pleased to see that a significant number of consultees supported the introduction of secure cycle parking for commuters at the station, as one of the cornerstones of our proposals. This will help TfL with their overall strategy to encourage more people to walk, cycle and take public transport – addressing concerns with public health and climate change.

With regards to car parking, recognise the need for car parking while also making sure housing for commuters is provided, and as a result there will be around 60 spaces kept.

We understand concerns about local services and amenities. We will be bringing these to discussions with the London Borough of Harrow throughout the design development process to help resolve concerns.

Regarding the design of the building, we are still at the early design stage of the planning process, and any views on building materials and designs will be considered by the project team.

We want to redevelop Canons Park Station car park to provide 120 new 100% affordable homes on public land, in locations with excellent transport links, that are much needed due to London’s housing crisis.
